At the yearly Ain't It Cool News Butt-Numb-a-Thon, a new 4K remastered version of Don Coscarelli's *Phantasm* was screened. The new master was done off the original camera negative by, of all companies, J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot -- the character of Captain Phasma in the new *Star Wars* movie is named in tribute to *Phantasm.
