Doing nearly ANYTHING on the web on a phone is an exercise in torture, and I've used *all* the major platforms (Android, iOS, WP).

You must be a masochist.

Corporate may be clueless, but the management at the theater itself is pretty good.

As for the popcorn wait, we only have two kettles and there is no way that we will be able to keep up with demand, not to mention how many soda's we will have to switch out.

Concessions I fear is under supplied for the onslaught of Star Wars.

It will be like the Alamo all over again.
Best solution for people is either do without popcorn and/or sneak in your own.

Im sure there will be lots of food sneaking in that weekend, the theater however will still make a ton of money.

In the most shocking news of all-time, this is getting the widest December release ever.

I would approve of this, but concessions is where the theater makes most of its profits.

Yep, it's the same story on my iPad. I thought it was just Safari but Firefox has the same problem. That's why I can't edit my posts if they're at the top of a page.

Yes, and Lucas still insisted she get a screenplay credit and took his name off for just a "story" credit. A lot of people have a "Lucas is the devil" mindset because he made stuff or changes they didn't like but he's always been extremely generous with both his money and giving people their due.

Alright gentlemen, I think it may be time to go off the grid until Thursday. Now that some have seen it, I fear the worst in terms of spoilers!

Disney owns Lucasfilm by paying $4 Billion = Star Wars The Force Awakens is in lack of better words a Disney movie. Check out the Wikipedia page for The Force Awakens. The Distributor is Disney. Wrap that in whatever words you want and smoke it.

Although I been to some decent Carmike locations thoughout the country (Montana, Alabama, Florida), unfortunately they're all outside my current state.

The Carmike theater in my city in Western North Dakota is the only theater in town, outdated with subpar sound and projection, and not well run (during a screening of Spectre, the picture did not appear on the screen and it took theatre management 20-30 mins for them to fix it).

Can't wait to get back to Arizona for Christmas, where I have the option of newer theatres along with Atmos or IMAX.

Well I happen to agree with Ernest Rister. While I think the Disney stamp is all over (most) of the Marvel films and has affected Pixar, this feels like Abrams' SW from top to bottom. Even has a touch of the old Lucas magic to it.

This is pretty much the truth. Unlike some studios(Fox and Sony for greatest examples)Disney seems to have trust in the people overseeing the Marvel and LucasFilm side of things. Why do people think Kevin Fiege is so happy to be reporting to the head of Disney and not that cheap... Ike Perlmutter. If he was going to be controlled just as much then he really wouldn't have had a reason to go above Perlmutter to complain.

Yeah, everything on ABC, ESPN...they're all Disney TV shows. Every Pixar and Marvel and LucasFilm and DreamWorks film with Spielberg...all created by the invasive micro-managing evil Disney corporation.

Do you have some sort of issue with Disney? I mean you're talking bad about it yet you have their Mascot as your Avatar.
