Finally got my Touch of Malice!

Now, is there a website or thread devoted to Guardians that have Touch of Malice where we can look down on and shun all of the lesser Guardians that don't have one yet?

So I completed the raid for the first time last night. What a stressful experience that was, how do you know if you completed the Oryx challenge or not?

You have to defeat Oryx by detonating all 16 orbs at once. If you do it successfully, a second chest will appear.

We had two chests so I guess we did it?

It's the first time beating Oryx and that way seemed quite easy, what's the normal way to beat him, is it easier still?

The challenge mode is the easiest way to beat Oryx.

The other way basically requires you to detonate 4 orbs in each rotation.

I am thinking of rebuying the game, are you able to play through the taken king "campaign / story" missions with friends or randoms over PSN?

Or are you with your fireteam and can see random players and you can invite them into your team?

It's just like before. You can play story missions with friends or with invited randoms, if said randoms respond to your invites. TBH, the in game population has shrunk to a critical low, so if you don't have actual real friends still playing, it might be hard to find randoms doing the same thing.

A co-worker of mine and I were running through the Exotic Sword version of Sunless Cell yesterday. I needed to kill the solar warden fewer than 30 seconds before killing Alak-Hul.

A random joined us (Light 295, Grimoire in the 2000s), and I noticed he needed the arc sword. I told my colleague we'll try for both. So, in the pit, we had both of those guys down to a sliver of health, and were working on Alak-hul, when my colleague killed the solar warden (NUTS!). We all focused on Alak-hul. I know it had been more than 30 seconds, so I waited until his health went down and then killed the Arc warden before killing A-H.

I wasn't able to try again for the solar sword, but it felt pretty good to help out a KinderGuardian.

TL;DR - When trying for my exotic sword, random KinderGuardian (who needed different sword) joined. We tried both, failed, but got him his sword. Felt good.
