HBO has put in development drama series High Rise, from Blue Valentine co-writer Cami DeLavigne, Jeff Kwatinetz’s The Firm and The Weinstein Company.

Written by DeLavigne, High Rise is set in present day New York. It tells the story of a young ambitious and brilliant architect who forms an unlikely bond with the daughter of a real estate tycoon. With her help, his meteoric rise through New York’s design world will be threatened by the flesh and blood ghosts of his not so distant past that come back to haunt him.
