You can do all three swords in the same Darkblade strike.

When you reach Alak-Hul, knights with different shield burns will spawn. Kill the one that does not correspond with the sword you need and wittle away the health of the others. You need to kill the knights BEFORE Alak-Hul and it must all occur within 30 seconds of one another. Make sure that they all of them are very, very close to dying before you hit them with the finishing blows.

Yeah this update is free, coming april 12th. I really hope the light level doesn't go up past 340 or so. I just got all my characters up to 318 and I don't want infinite grind again.

The new "large scale" dlc comes out in the fall and that will cost.

I don't mind some grind, but if they go crazy with their "significant light upgrade" then I won't be down. Most people figure 330 or 365, no idea where the numbers came from but that's what I've seen speculated a lot.

But if they go crazy and say like 400-500 that's ludicrous.

i'll throw the game back in once the expansion drops just to play it. but i won't be grinding for anything.

i can't imagine the light jump will be that high of an increase.....usually it's raid gear that jumps the light level up to the max.

unless they are going to have POE armor as end game rewards now.

i just don't see them offering the highest gear as something you can buy.

April 12th is the date it drops. i highly doubt Doom will kill them off though, maybe the PVP side, but the Doom campaign won't even be 20 hours I bet.

I'd be more worried about Uncharted 4 coming n May 10th than DOOM.

I was referring more to Uncharted than Doom, but between those two, I expect more of a mass exodus from Destiny than The Division created.

That's cool I didn't know that, still though I don't ever use the one sword I have so I doubt I'll finish up the last two.

The exotic solar sword is one of the best weapons in the game, in my opinion.

On a Heroic strike without any burns, it takes approximately 5-6 strong hits to kill one of the Psion Flayers.

The last time I remember using my void sword was in the CoO and in PoE using them in strikes seems like a bad idea to me.

Anyone interested in a raid tonight? I want to get into the Warpriest challenge, but I do want to get as close to defeating Oryx as much as possible. I don't care if it's Normal or Hard, I want to be a part of this raid!!

Again, I ask if anyone wants to do a raid tonight? Since today's the reset, I'd like to see if we can put one together this evening.

Probably a long shot here but... I have a friend who picked the game up last week. He just hit lvl 30 and I was thinking about running him through VoG. To me it really is still one of the coolest encounters in Destiny (even after that thing with the gloves...).

Was wondering if there was anyone still kicking around here who would like to help me out Sunday? I'll figure out a time if there's any interest.
