I was just watching the Robinson Crusoe television movie on NBC, and I am wondering if I heard the f-word correctly. I am not campaigning, just curious if they really let it fly on network television.
Towards the end, when they find the gold cannon, Friday says something to the effect – ‘This gold of yours sure doesn’t impress me much.’ And Robin says, ‘It will buy a whole fleet of ships, with ebony decks and sails of silk.’ And then Friday replies, ‘Fcuk, let me know when they get here.’ Ha, ha, ha. Is that what I heard, or do I need to have my ears checked out? |
