I dont think you'll see ST:TNG on blu - it was shot on crappy SD video and not even widescreen. Plus if you all remember when ST: the original series came out on HD-DUD, it was $200+ for the first season, and that was shot on film so HD conversion was easier plus they didn't sell well at that price. ST: Enterprise is really the only one with a chance at a good/excellent HD transfer since it was shot in HD. Keep your old ST:TNG/DS9/VOYAGER DVDs and enjoy the upscale, probably the best you'll see and tons cheaper too.

But hey, Im with you... if they could do it, I too would jump on it and get it.

EDIT: I stand corrected - ST:TNG was shot on 35mm film and transfered to VIDEO(NTSC) for presentation on TV but the bad part is it was shot at 1.33:1 aspect ractio (4x3 TV). But then again ST:TOS-Remastered was shot at 1:33.1 too but comes in 3 HD versions - version 1. Its pillarboxed with both the remastered footage and new digital effects in 1:33.1, 2. Its pillarboxed with the remastered footage in 4x3 but 16x9 on the digital effects, and 3. released in Japan, its 16x9 for all scenes with the remastered scenes stretched to 16x9...
