The sentence could have been a lot shorter. Prosecutors worked out a plea deal where Sharper would only get 9 years, but the judge rejected the plea deal as too lenient.

So crazy to think that I was watching Sharper on NFLN while all of this was going on behind the scenes.

Why on earth would they bundle all his cases together for a lighter sentence??

I'd think if they tried him separately he would have been convicted several times and gotten effectively a life sentence. I get the cost but this guy doesn't deserve to ever get out.
