As per the Blu-ray.com reviewer, the 3d Route is the way to go here!
2k Transfer upscaling is not true 4k on a UHD 4k disc. It will be slightly sharper and slightly more colorful but overall not much over an already stellar 1080 Blu-ray. It's a fun movie but not a great movie for an overly repeat watch. With that said....a 3d experience makes it more of a fun repeat to watch especially one with a stellar 3d review unlike its prequel. Again 3d is the way to go here, at the least, coming from an avid 4k Consumer and Purchaser. P.S. Im on the ropes with Warcraft though either 3d or 4k... the 3d got a great review still waiting on 4k review!! Plus I haven't seen that movie yet. |
