Even if the music remained changed as on previous releases, I'd still buy it because it's a great show. (I probably wouldn't even notice which music was replaced anyway.) But it's great that Mill Creek was able to restore almost everything.

Sold. This has been one of the titles I've been waiting for since I started "collecting". I'm sure something about the release will be less than ideal... but it's going to take a whole heck of a lot to keep me from purchasing this one.

You know, if they leave 90% of the music as-is and just manage to get Ray Charles back (it was Ray that was cut from the Al episode, right? It's been years since I've seen the showt), I'd be a happy camper.
And we thank you for your service to king and country! |

You put those back together, the set is already light years ahead of the original Universal releases. |

It's not like I've had copies of those original versions that I've watched countless times over the years and had grown used to. I watched the show when it originally aired but since have only caught scattered episodes here and there in reruns and occasionally on DVD. It's probably been years since I've seen them with any original music. With older shows like this, I don't always know what music's been replaced years later, so it doesn't bother me as much as I imagine it does someone who's much more familiar with the original versions. In any event, like I said, it's great Mill Creek was able to restore so much music for those who have been wanting it.

![]() I just wish I had better anticipated this coming to blu and wouldn't have bought the digital streams had I known this was right around the corner. This is definitely good news and one of my favorite shows. Hopefully Sliders will get released, too. |

QL was shot and edited entirely on film, IIRC, so there's no need to go back and do an expensive Star Trek:TNG type restoration and reconstruction. But Sliders... shot on film, edited on video, so you'd either get a crappy upscale of 480i video, or remastered filmed elements with bad looking SD effect shots. And that's assuming Uni would put out the money for it, because Sliders isn't TNG or the X-Files. |

I've read that The A-Team is coming to Blu-ray next year in the US. It just hasn't been announced yet. But that is another one I'm looking forward to, even though I just recently finished binging the whole series on Netflix. Will be curious to see if Mill Creek restores music to it as well, as I know of at least a few songs that are missing.

One of my favorites, and one of the few shows I'd be willing to upgrade from DVD. Having a lot of the original music returned is GREAT news. I can probably sell the DVD sets for $5-10 each, which means this won't event be *that* expensive. One more bonus: smaller cases save on shelf space.
