For those who have the UH8500 and watch 3D regularly, what are your impressions of the 3D quality? The TV will be wall-mounted in my living room, and the center of the TV will be close to eye level when seated (maybe 8" higher, but tilted down), and viewing distance is 9 feet.
Since LG dropped 3D for 2017, I went ahead and orderd a LG 75UH8500, primarily for its passive 3D. Obviously, 4K and HDR are also important as well, but I don't have a UHD blu-ray player yet, so the immediate benefit for me will be upscaling blu-ray content, 4K Netflix, and full 1080p for each eye in 3D. I currently have a 70" Sony R550a. |
