I won a bid for this on ebay recently. I'm looking forward to watching the B&C edition of Fury Road and the Road War documentary.
The question I have to ask myself now is do I keep my Mad Max metalpak I got from Best Buy or do I sell it? |

Keep it, it's the only version of the release with a decent cover.

I'm having difficulty with my Black and Chrome disc. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the audio is super echoey on the music and sound effects channels. Dialogue channel has no echo. This issue is only on the B&C disc. Regular Fury Road does not have this effect. I've tried it on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and LG blu ray player, same echo issue. Anyone got any ideas how to remedy this? Or is this a disc mastering error?

I've just noticed that the specs for the first film lists three English audio tracks with two of them being in mono. One of them has original in brackets next to it.
Can anyone confirm if this release does indeed have the original Australian mono mix? |

It's the MGM release so that means DTS-HD MA 5.1 for the Aussie, DD mono for the US dub and DD mono for the "original" Aussie mono. I put original in quotes because it's NOT the proper mono mix.

![]() Looks like I'll probably stick with my Warners trilogy set and pick up the black and chrome version of Fury Road separately. Is the new documentary any good? Last edited by The Fallen Deity; 04-01-2017 at 08:03 PM. |

It's decent, but it's not a must unless you are a diehard Mad Max like myself. The best thing about this set is that it has all 3 versions of Fury Road: Theatrical, B & C, and UHD.

Recently picked this up used on Amazon for $20. Not a massive fan, but at that price I couldn't say no.
Just started to watch the "Madness of Max" 180minute (!) documentary and...wow...some of the worst DVD images I have ever seen. Did they get this off YouTube?! How did they not have a better source to use? |
