Saw it on friday. Wanted to see some 3D on the big screen again. Thought it was a big overproduced waste of money, both on the part of the producers, and the imax price I paid. It's essentially a lot of empty spectacle. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood.
On the positive side, the pop-outs are there, the better ones seemed to be slow-motion CGI arrows and other projectiles, if that's what does it for you. The story keeps things moving along, Matt Damon doesn't disgrace himself, and it's not overlong. |
