I doubt this will be less than 31.99 release week considering its spiderman. Little bit different than Passengers. I actually would not be surprised if they stuck to the 34.99 release price.

That would make sense and my wallet will be empty since I will pick up both The Spider-Man Trilogy on 4K and Spider-Man Homecoming on the same day.

All MCU films come with commentary right? Commentary isn't listed but I'm hoping.

In all honesty, I saw this in 3D and it didn't really improve the viewing experience. The only good scene enhanced with 3D was the Washington Monument rescue. That was it.

The use of 3D in both Amazing Spider-Man movies were far better. Especially those web slinging scenes when Spidey swung around New York.

Agreed. I saw it in IMAX 3D for my first viewing and that was the only scene that popped to me. When I saw it again recently in 2D my viewing experience didn't make me think "I wish this was a 3D showing".

I sure do miss those swinging scenes though. They were one of my favorite parts of the other Spidey movies. Hopefully the sequels have them.

Well I like to collect the 3d editions. I have all the ones for Phase 1 & 2. I'm still getting this steelbook though because it looks....NICE.

Every 3D blu ray I have looks so much better at home than when I saw them in theaters. I guess it all depends on what equipment/setup you have. If the artwork holds up for the HMV release I'll probably be going with that version since it's got the 4k, 3D and standard blu rays. I also preordered the funky orange rubber looking Zavvi 3D steelbook.

Looks like the UK HMV release is copying the US artwork. Here's a picture of the inside. Not sure why they put Deadpool in it??

This might be one of the best looking BB Marvel steels IMO.

Guess US folks are out of luck with the HMV release? Doesn't look like they ship outside UK.

Not to derail, but regarding the discussion about 3D (and its lack of inclusion in this SB): I saw this in IMAX 2D (in most cases I prefer 2D). I don't recall there being shifting aspect ratios. Does anyone know if there will be a shifting AR IMAX release of this film? If so, I'll spring for he 3D disc (in addition to this SteelBook).
