This is a modern adventure game, not an action game. The challenge is working out how to progress using the tools available in the environment.

Well, it sounded to me like you were saying Heavy Rain gameplay is just watch events unfold and interact with QTE. Which I added that you don't just watch.

Anyway, as Shin just explain, Heavy Rain is a modern adventure, not action.

It kinda remind me of games like Clock Tower, where you just explore, then next thing you know, some creepy dude with a giant scissor pop out and you either find something to defend yourself in the nick of time, escape, or hide.

I'm reffering to the first Clock Tower on PS1 by the way, never played the rest. But for me, it's one reason why I am looking forward to Heavy Rain.

It's a pimp out version of games like Clock Tower. Except you can't die, supposedly.

Which makes it that much more interesting.

I played a demo for it. It was pretty fun, reminded me of Fallout in a low tech way, lol.

Personally I prefer the French woman (Aurélie Bancilhon) from the original Heavy Rain teaser.
