Under normal circumstances in their stadium no, but they had 10 players, and we had the lead with 8 minutes to go. So I'd consider it a disappointment. What's more alarming is that we've only managed to score one goal in all but one of our games so far. I hope that's not a trend we'll continue.

This was a pretty spectacular goal for Siggurdson. What a way to debut for Everton. All in all another lackluster offensive performance by us once again, but I guess it was enough to get us through to the group stages of the Europa League. I'm glad we're back in it once again.

That was a great signing. Given time, I think he will establish himself as a favourite.

Yup, it certainly will be my friend. Especially Lyon, who I know want to get back into the finals again, since they're hosting it this time around. That will be a nice little challenge for us.

I'm glad at least you got an easier draw.

No points, no goals, no hope. Palace are clueless under de Boer. We haven't got an easy run of fixtures coming up either, not that any run in this league is easy but Burnley away is another bogey ground and Southampton generally like coming to our place, then we've got the two Mancs and it doesn't matter whether we're home or away, we're gonna lose those. If we can't register a win in that time then FDB will surely be gone, I hope the board kept Fat Sam's number on speed dial but given that Dougle Freedman was recently appointed in a sporting director role I can see him being the caretaker.

This feels like the lowest I have felt as a Sunderland fan. At least when we got relegated to Div 3 (now league 1) for the one and only time in our history years ago, the fans spirit was still there. The owners have somehow crushed the entire fan base. Ugly scenes yesterday as the players booed off and chants of 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' also im hearing our keeper got hit by a bottle. Crazy if true. Plus, for the first time I can remember, we have lost 10,000 from our fan base. Horrible, horrible time with 500,000 signings and bargain basement loan deals. Sad state of affairs and my club is being ripped apart.

With my positive hat on, I would say maybe Palace are just struggling to adapt to a new system. With my negative hat on, I would say now that the players don't have Sam breathing down their necks, some bad attitudes are creeping back in. They seem to lack togetherness and focus at the moment. If this co tinurs, the manager needs changing before December at the latest as the rot can't be allowed to set in.

Wow, we were thoroughly outclassed today. We have a lot of work to do.

Oh, and Ronald, please don't spend 40 million quid on an over the hill, one dimensional player like Vardy. He's not a replacement for Lukaku. Pretty please.

Yeah, that no goals, no point, no confidence start is not a good sign. I sure hope they can right this before the whole season is lost. You're seemingly in for a long season bud.

They're ALWAYS long seasons when you're a Palace fan, but it's not looking good regardless. It's like Pardew never left, and adapting to a new system is all well and good but something like Fat Sam's method is simplicity itself, while this bloody 3 at the back malarkey needs quality and touch and vision and class and Palace's players are simply not good enough to execute it.

Unlucky today vortex but you had the usual Euro hangover by the looks of it, and I feel for you Steedy as that was a brutal defeat.

Draw for Wrst Brom, bad result for Everton and Arsenal down 1-0 already. Not the best of days so far.

Tob, I can't believe how bad Arsenal are at the back. Wenger has to go like.

Wenger gets the team selection wrong again and he leaves Bellerin at left back and Chamberlain at right back why play players out of position.
But at least Welbeck has some work rate in his game these players today were a joke, embarrassing and a disgrace along with Wenger to the club.
Wenger should have gone a long time ago and he should have left in May but instead the board who have no balls reward him with a two year deal and we have to suffer for it the running of this club from top to bottom has to change but it won't its only three games in to the season and already i wish the season was over, Wenger out, Stan Kroene out, Ivan Gazidis out , half of this squad out and backroom staff out, i am sick of it.
