Default Help with future Audio Setup Budget Under $545

Hi i am currently using an pioneer HTIB

http://reviews.cnet.com/home-theater...?tag=mncol;lst

got it for $100 during BF.

This is for my room... I Saw Driver King's reccomendation of The Onkyo 606 Receiver + Polk Audio RM6750 Speakers and was highly considering that.
But I want to see if there are other routes to go, as i do not know what is good and bad for receivers and speakers.

My Plan is to save up $545 and get the best equipment possible with that budget.

Im new to Audio Equipment and read pretty much the whole Home Theatre Virgin Sticky/Thread well except for the.. Reciever terms/ Sub Terms cause there was too many Graphs and it seemned like a class room text book read.

I know you guys said to.. buy the center and fronts then slowly buy the surround and sub, but this isnt for my own living room, just my room and i dont really want to spend more then $600 till i get my own place. (19 y old living with my parents ) WHen i get my own place ill start a new thread and drop $1500 on audio equipment. lol All my $$ is going towards school.

Thanks for the help.
