I own that disc, and FWIW, I seem to recall there is no net gain from that 5.1. It's not worth preserving. You're better off with the mono LPCM track that is on either Japanese disc.

The 5.1 that IS on there, while using lossy compression, is ACTUALLY in surround sound, with pretty discrete voice and SFX. The bitrate on the Discotek disc are packed to the gills, so we had to be a little selective about what to include.
