My BIC America Story

Just wanted to let everyone know about my BIC America experience.

About 8 years ago, while I was setting up my 5.1 surround system, I purchased a BIC America D1210-R 200 watt powered subwoofer (12" down-firing). This thing shook the house .

I've since upgraded to blu-ray and expanded to 7.1 - still using the BIC sub. About two weeks ago, the sub went dead. It had a 2 year warranty but I was way beyond that- so I pulled the amp out of the cabinet to have a look. Sure enough, something burned up-there was a big black spot on the PCB.

I called BIC to request or buy a schematic so I could take a shot at repairing it. They told me they cannot give out the schematic but send the amp in and they would look at it.

Well they repaired the amp (actually replaced the PCB) and sent it back to me yesterday -free of charge. That's customer service.

I would recommend BIC to anyone on this forum looking for a decent subwoofer at affordable prices- and they back there stuff up.
