I might just give in & buy this for the packaging alone & yea I’m one those nostalgic people anyway & Ive spent enough this month alone so what’s another purchase.

The way the VHS flap closes so perfectly with the magnets just gives you such a satisfying feeling lol.

About to watch a few episodes now.

In reality this show has a 4K DI but apparently the one being streamed through Netflix does not appear to be from the true source. It also has HDR10 which is also missing from the 4K streaming.

Yeah I agree. For this season specifically it isn’t worth it. However, for other 4K content not available on physical media it is worth it IMO (the after mentioned Gerald’s Game, the new Mindhunter, Okja, etc.).

I did. Ordered it Tuesday at noon, arrived on my doorstep Wed. at 1pm. Really surprised, wasn't expecting it till Friday or Saturday.

****! I ordered the boxset because the product pics in this thread showed that it was region free, and now I find out it's not. I just hope that the ebay seller finds it in his heart to cancel my purchase, even though he generally don't accept cancellations post one hour after ordering.

I was going to make a trip out to the closest Target to me yesterday morning (about an hour away), but I was feeling a bit under the weather, and decided to just place an order on the website instead (good thing too, since according to the site, that store was out). It showed up today in the mail, in perfect shape.

I'm not someone whom puts more of an emphasis on the packaging than the actual disc content, but I'm loving how this looks...

My target order shows preparing for shipment, should get it by Friday according to its estimate. Nice to see some getting super quick shipping!

One way to avoid the forced opening trailers on repeat viewings is to eject the disc during the closing credits of episode four (or at any time before the disc ends and returns to the opening menu), that way if your player has auto-resume you can simply go the main menu once it re-loads the disc wherever you left off.

My comparisons to ancient VHS packaging. Stranger Things isn't the BIGGEST. the old Warner WCI Home Video Releases I got from a video store years back are larger. Even the Old MGM/UA cases are taller!
