I'm setting up a Dolby Atmos receiver in my basement and I'm having some issues placing the in-ceiling speakers. Due to duct work in the basement I can't place the ceiling speakers in the ideal location (over the main listening area and parallel with the front speakers).
I have 3 options. 1. Place them over the main listening area but centered with the TV but fairly close together, about 4' apart. The front speakers about 7' apart. 2. Place them over the main listening area, 7' apart, but not centered. 3. Place them parallel with the front speakers, but about 5' behind the main listening area. Any suggestions to get the best sound? |
