Question Film Mode, Dynamic Contrast and xvYCC, on Samsung PNXX-A650?
I'm confused about "film" mode: what it does, what it's for, how to set it up and when to use it.

I have:
BD Player: Samsung BD-P2500
TV: Samsung PN50-A650
The BD player has a setting called "Movie Frame (24 fs)" and the TV has a setting called "Film Mode".

Is there any drawback to turning both these settings on all the time? What are the benefits? I've read that some TV's don't really provide any advantage when set to use film mode, does the A650?



What do "Dynamic Contrast" and "xvYCC" do? From what I've read from Samsung, these features sound great and like something you'd always want to have on, but most configurations shared here seem to disable both of these settings.

Are there drawbacks to having these enabled, or do they just do nothing?
