There are websites where you can sign up for advance screenings. You can also get on their email lists. In LA they also handout fliers (flyers?) and sign people up outside of theaters on occasion. One theater I used to frequent always had someout standing out there asking people.

Or is it simply part of the score of the film?

Either way, the way it sounds...the tones & notes and everything...is one of the most creepy/eerie things I've heard. It's very haunting.

Best thing about the trailer.

I suspect and hope that might be the score. The score is made by Geoff Barrow of “Portishead “fame. He also did the brilliant score for Ex Machina.

I'm glad Garland fought for his film and didn't allow it to be altered. Hopefully it doesn't have the Garland signature of a batshit messy climax. He sounds super passionate about the project and though I didn't like Jackie at all, I always am excited for Natalie Portman.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who disliked that movie. I am, however, very excited about this one. Looks like it's right in my wheelhouse.

Despite my reservations for Ex Machina, I'm very interested in this. Garland is one of the best screenwriters around when it comes to Science Fiction.

I saw a this while watching the Waco miniseries and visually, it looks really cool but I've yet to see Ex Machina and I'm not a Portman fan or, at least, lost a great deal of respect for her.

I can't wait until Charlie Brooker starts getting writing gigs for films. Although his work is more near-future dystopias than far flung futuristic worlds, I prefer his voice to the blandness of Garland's stuff.
