Star Wars Film Series - From Game of Thrones Producers

I don't get why some fans dwell so much on the potential of "fatigue" and "saturation". There's going to be a Star Wars movie every year no matter what, nothing can be done about that. It's out of your control except you can ignore them and not contribute to their box office. I'm enjoying the ride so far and will continue to do so for as long as I can. I'm not going to let cynicism and anxiety for what may happen many years down the line affect what's happening now.

3 films in 3 years has me no where near fatigued yet. And I feel they've kept it fresh so far with films that feel different, and the films have provided me with an unparalleled cinematic experience compared to the other current franchises. When it reaches the point where a new Star Wars movie no longer feels like a big deal then so be it. It won't affect my enjoyment of the Star Wars movies I love and it won't diminish the cultural and cinematic significance of the original movies.

All I really wanted was the Sequel Trilogy, the rest of this is just a delightful bonus for me. It's just like the Expanded Universe but instead of novels and comic books it's in cinematic form. It's not like they're just making Star Wars Episode X to infinity and dragging out the main Saga storyline every year. I'd feel differently if that were the case.

People complained Lucasfilm was relying too much on OT nostalgia and wanted them to do something completely new and disconnected to what we've already seen, well here we go.
