I just got this. Been watching disc 1, vastly better quality than TV/streaming; details are strong, picture is crisp and clean for the most part, but there are quite a bit of anomalies throughout (banding and macroblocking in dark scenes being the worst offenders), not too much to be a deal breaker but enough to be noticeable. Any softness or lack of details in certain moments I think are source related. Sound is strong. All in all, I'm thinking 4.0 for video and 4.5 for sound.
I say, if this is a sign to how future TV seasons will be handled by Echo Bridge, then this is a great start. Last edited by CrazyBlu-RayFan; 02-12-2018 at 12:42 AM. |
