Fast forward almost 20 years. And I just finished watching it on 3D in a 55" OLED. Amazed by the rose box that flew of the screen when the Terminator pulled the Shotgun and getting poked by the gun barrel a couple of times!

Amazing 3D! Loved it!
I think the 3D on Titanic had a little more depth but still, amazing conversion!

Now just need some time to Watch the Lego Movie 3D!
T2 has really divided opinion, especially those who got it in 4k

I only owned the t2 vhs tin, so seeing the bar scene with such clarity and depth was a thrill

The credits sequence that plays when the film ends credits the Dutch voice actors, there are likely to be credits for the English cast later on when they switch to scrolling, but I didn't watch to the end.

I think I am going to stay with wide color gamut for now. Even the regular bluray looks more saturated. The outdoor scenes of Las Vegas have this dense yellow tone...But it's all lost once I wear 3D glasses, unless I select wide color gamut
Hi rocky,

Loved it. Can't recall if old blue eyes had such problem with power outages.

Might be good to use the calibration disc with the wide color set in place so you can zero into the precise color and tint settings. Might look even better!

Glad you're happy with everything.

Hi guys. Got them both. Great 3D.

Noah was the first import I ever purchased and I remember being so worried it would really play and be in English. Suggest checking eBay for both titles, might be cheaper. Beware of one selling Beowulf for $85 U.S.

I don't think it was released in the U.S. was it, and back then nearly everything was?

No slip in the US. I believe Canada did have one. I bought mine from the UK, and it also came with a slip.

Last 3D movie watched was Thor Ragnarok.

I can't help it - the movie sucks. The 3D however.. is really something else. Hope this conversion quality continues for future films.

Again this is not a 3D release but with my darbee helping, watched "The Space Between Us" simulated.

Happened to turn off simulation for a moment so was able to see the changeover back to normal immediately - and the difference between the two.

Now again, not comparing this to true 3D. Only saying even simulation can be great fun and more immersive than flat. So maybe we should use it more often when not having any other choice.

Technically, I consider this the last 3D movie I watched, even if it really isn't.

Had a Thor movie marathon last night and watched all 3. I don't normally see any ghosting on my display but there were a lot of scenes in Ragnarok that seemed to have ghosting/double image problems. Mostly the scenes with Asgard buildings and the scenes with Odin. I'm thinking the Odin scenes were because they were reshoots and they didn't have a lot of time to convert them properly? Anyone else see a lot of ghosting?

I would get it when I first power on my JVC projector and Oppo, but I let the menus cycle a few times and seemed to catch up and fix itself

THOR: RAGNAROK 3D UK IMPORT 4/5
3D: 4.75/5
PQ: 5/5
AQ: 4.75/5

Damn you Disney and forcing me to buy from overseas to enjoy my 3D flicks. Probably the best of the 3 Thor flicks they have made with a new fun/funny kinetic energy to it. Plus it doesn’t hurt that they incorporated some of Planet Hulk story into this as well. So I won’t say much else about the plot other than that. The 3D was pretty amazing with it also being the only way to watch the film in its theatrical 2.40:1 scope ratio along with the open formatted IMAX scenes included as well. Wish for maybe a bit more pop out moment soon but overall great depth and openness added to the alien worlds. The PQ was also fantastic with some colour added in that to again this alien battle arena world from the Grandmaster. Audio was overall great as well with tons of surround sound usage that made everything feel very immersive BUT they did whimp out on the subwoofer power. It thuds when it should be a THUMP! Plus like the recent Coco release I had to up my volume at least 10 notches higher then usual to get the sound level I’m use too. Once I found it I never had to lower or increase to keep family happy during their viewing. So an easy recommend from me, and only got better upon my 2nd viewing too

Default Cosmic Encounters (Begegnung im All)

This one hour 2012 3D documentary follows two European Space Agency (ESA) astronauts going through training (German Alexander Gerst) and flight to the International Space Station (Dutch Andre Kuipers). There are 3D views of training centers and mission control at NASA's Johnson Space Center, the Russian Baikonur Cosmodrome (including 3D views inside a Soyuz spacecraft), and ESA space centers. There are 3D views inside and outside of the International Space Station (ISS). The scenes outside are both real and simulated and of course the real ones are better. They really did bring a 3D camera on board the ISS for this. The highlights of the documentary are some views of the Earth with part of the space station in the frame, providing a very nice 3D effect and of course a beautiful view.

The 3D had very good depth but was seriously flawed by numerous instances of double images (I don't mean ghosting or crosstalk, but actual overlapping double images) and was a bit hard on the eyes at times. This was not due to a problem with my TV (a 4K OLED), which plays modern 3D movies (including Thor Ragnarok) with totally flawless, jaw-dropping quality. Unfortunately this problem is bad enough that it makes this not a good 3D demo to show off 3D to friends.

The disk will play on Region A players. The title of the documentary, given in English, is "Cosmic Encounters." For the narration you have a choice of English or German. The extras consist of trailers for four other 3D documentaries but unfortunately the trailers are only in 2D. Purchased through Amazon Germany.

I thought ghosting/double images was TV-related, not content-related

I bought Enchanted Kingdom off an eBay seller. The reviews for this title are basically awesome. cant wait to watch this in 3D. This is the one narrated by Idris Elba.
