Default The Prisoner Remade on AMC

I am a huge fan of the classic TV series starring Patrick McGoohan. My screenname here is even a play off of McGoohan's Danger Man (know as Secret agent in the us) and The Prisoner (his character is Number 6). It is now being remade as a miniseries for AMC starring Jim Caviezel as 6 and Ian McKellan as 2. I think it could work as long as they treat the source material right. And maybe this may mean I might get a BLU release of the original 60's series, that would be super sweet. Just wondering what other fans out there think of this? Also, I would like to point out that Christopher Nolan has also looked at making a feature film out of The Prisoner, I think he could do an absolutely awesome job of it (*prerequisite Nolan or Dark Knight mention made as required on these forums).
