I was looking at the upcoming schedule for the San Francisco Silent Film Festival and saw that there screening Ozu's 1935 "An Inn in Tokyo".

Every time one of the Clamor Titles gets announced somebody says 'thank goodness, now we won't have to hear people clamoring for this title anymore' and that lasts about ten minutes until the next Clamor Title is crowned.

Murder on the Orient Express, please! Paramount won't do anything with that one themselves (they'd have released it to coincide with Kenneth Branagh's atrocious moustache, I mean film). It needs a better transfer than Studiocanal is ever likely to give the film. The more I rewatch it, the more I'm baffled at how underrated it is.

I just want an announcement of a release date, I want to hold it in my hands and watch it! No more hearing about people saying it coming! Haven’t people been asking Malick about it at Q&A’s for over a year now?

Well, they like Polanski, they're released other Paramount titles and Paramount obviously doesn't seem too terribly interested in releasing it themselves.

But I don't think there's even been a whisper of a hint of a rumor so maybe some hope but probably not a lot?

I'm hoping Criterion announces Voyage of Time sometime soon as well. Maybe they'll come out the same month!

I still can't believe Rian Johnson's "Brick" hasn't been added to the collection yet.

Would've been a perfect title to coincide with the release of "The Last Jedi".
