Option for previewing thread before submitting it?

Is it possible to have a mini section for "test threads"?

I have often been posting a comment and wanted to put in a spoiler indicator or make a url link a word instead of the long address but was always afraid to do what i think was correct in case it turns out completely wrong!!

If there was a test area we could mess about with all the features available to us without the fear of getting things horribly wrong!!

This way posting will become better for everyone who is unsure on how to use all the posting features..

And maybe in this section include a few guidelines as to how to us ALL the functions available to us when posting?!
