Just saw this in theaters, didn't expect much of it and I thought it was okay. I feel like if some of the plot stuff wasn't so predictable and silly while expanding more on the themes of whether genetically engineered/cloned life deserves to live, it would have been a lot better movie and a bit more thought provoking; but then again Jurassic park/world has never been that thought provoking but it would have been a nice change while still having awesome action sequences. It would have been more like Blade Runner 2049/Westworld with the themes of whether artificial life should be allowed to have the right to live/have freedom but instead on the genetically engineered/cloned life forms.

But alas, movies that go deep into those questions are box-office disappointments. Most movie-goers don't pay to see sci-fi where engineered beings/"unhumans" framed in a compassionate way are posed to be treated fairly.

Something something xenophobia. Fallen Kingdom had just enough to cause an uproar while also having an inaccurate marketing campaign that'll help push it to over a billion at the box-office.
