The Incredibles Elastigirl Bundle. UPC 762184302027. I suppose the release date is August 7 even if they write 7/8/2018 as July 8 is a Sunday.

Anyone else having issues with this disc on their Oppo Udp 203? I have exchanged it 3 times already. The first 2 copies froze up and pixelated around the 1:04 time marker. The last copy played through fine at that spot but froze up near the end. I cleaned the disc and my firmware is up to date. I’ve had minor issues with 100 gig disks but this one is driving me nuts cause I feel like it’s the disc and not the player. Anyone?

I definitely felt the resolution increase was clearly visible. Things that always felt smooth now showed clear texture. I never knew that all the tunnels where Mrs. Increbile runs into the guards - had so much detail. Never noticed the textures. The scene with Dash running through the jungle- before, it always felt like the leaves in branches were a blur as he raced by. The 4k reveals everything as clear with very little motion blur and great detail. Hair is slightly more detailed in all scenes. HDR has some nice moments, but what really shines here is the separation and diversity of color. Never noticed that the jungle had so many colors. 5 o clock shadows on faces could be seen more. Colors pop as would be expected. Explosions have great, vivid consistency. Electricity has a vibrant glow. Syndromes white lasers he uses to immobilize were prominent yet well defined. I think this is a nice upgrade. It won't blow your eyeballs out of their sockets, but I think people will appreciate the obviously WCG. ![]() |

And as i mentioned at the end, this won't make your eyeballs explode, but it is clearly an upgrade in resolution and helping to see all the textures, and the HDR is more about providing a more detailed and nuanced color spectrum I had never noticed all the different colors on the jungle flooring and leaves. I'm just giving impressions based on the equipment I'm using and my eyes. I don't think anyone should go off of just one review on the forums. Just adding my two cents to the conversation. ![]() |

I stuck a 16GB stick into the back and used that for the persistent memory after the last glitch (every single one of them occuring on a 100GB disc) and every triple stacker I've watched since then has been fine, even on something like Cabin in the Woods which a few people were reporting problems with on the OPPO a while back. I know that Incredibles is on a 66GB but even when my player was at its glitchiest it never had a problem with a double decker, so this will be an interesting test for it as I said.

I’m just saying that your statement about everything working right since the last time it didn’t work right doesn’t mean much. That’s always true of all things.

I'm so confused right now.
Geoff is saying that since the last time his Oppo player went haywire on him, he thinks he's fixed the problem and has had no issues since. However, he's looking forward to trying this disc, which has been giving other people fits, to put his player to the test and see if it works. Just because he hasn't had any issues since the last time, doesn't necessarily mean the issue is resolved, but trying another problematic disc of more recent vintage would be a great way to see for certain.
