Is there a thread for the snes nt?

Now this one is what I want!

Uses hardware emulation rather than software emulation so no emulation errors. Runs original carts, outputs all thje way up to 1080p over HDMI.

Uses original snes controllers. Only downside is some think it's a little expensive.

I've just preordered one.

If you're looking for the Ignisignia NES/SNES controller extension cable, check your local BB or bestbuy.com because they are back in stock:

Looks good,

I've recently picked up the SNES/Super Famicon A Visual History Book, and it's excellent.

Random question but does anyone have an extra SNES classic controller (not 3P)? My kids lot my second one and can't find it anywhere. I don't show anywhere (besides ebay) that sells them. I have an extra official NES classic controller (first party) that I can trade.
Thanks

That’s my fear too. Check out the 8bitdo controllers. They aren’t “official” but definitely the next best thing, and wireless.

Nice. I think even Nintendo knows that this isn't worth $80 without the hack.

My oldest found it this weekend thankfully. Now I am putting everything away, together and it's all going to have to be checked in/out like a library
Glad I didn't have to resort to ebay

It can be if you like more than 4 or 5 of the games on it considering what most games go for.

Is the SNES Classic Edition worth it?

I have the NES Classic Edition, and I love it mostly for the original games, like Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, Galaga, Pac-Man, etc. It's nice knowing you own the first games in these series's. That is the main thing that attracted me to the NES Classic Edition.

The SNES Classic seems to be full of sequels. There's no Castlevania 3. Don't get me wrong, these SNES games could be very good. Are they worth buying a SNES Classic?

The SNES Classic costs more than the NES Classic and comes wirh fewer games, so there's that...

And, naturally, there are a lot of favorite games that didn't make it onto the system.

All in all, I'd say that it's barely worth it.

Most of the games are sequels, because they're continuing the series of successful NES games. And I don't think Castlevania III was ever released on the SNES; it was an NES game.

If you’re not opposed to hacking and adding more games it’s absolutly worth it. Even if you don’t do you realize how much physical copies of these games go for? Not to mention the controllers feel authentic, original controllers in good shape are also hard to come by. Also throw in the rewind feature which is a very useful feature.

Let's just remember that obtaining and using these roms is illegal. Owning the physical copies (which I do for all three games I've added to my SNES Mini) makes it morally OK, but technically still not entirely legal.

I'm mostly caught up on my Black Friday haul and I'm seriously considering picking this up. It has the main games I played when I was young and the PlayStation classic is underwhelming.
