Iv'e never seen Troll 2 but I've read that its one of the worst movies ever made....

Regardless if Critters 3 & 4 end up sucking that box set is sweet looking. I just hope that Scream used this poster art as a reverse option on Critters 1

Anybody know why they disappeared? Would Shout be good for this?
I'm honestly surprised that no one commented on my question. Thought I'd give it one more chance. I mean Scream Factory and Shout are the same company, right?

3 & 4 aren't even in the same body as Troll 2, let alone the same vein.

Why you say that? Because Leo DiCaprio is in them?

Because they're competently made B-movies with decent actors cutting their teeth on DTV cheese. None of the Critters sequels are great films, but they're made by people who seem to possess a modicum of skill, something Troll 2 can't claim.

Cliff, may I ask if you guys can...or have any plans to bring back the Vincent Price Collection Volume 1 into print? I just now was able to get Volume 2 from Walmart for $35. I still need to get Volume 3 as well but Volume 1 is OOP.
Any chance?

Sean Clark just posted some pictures in front of the Poltergeist house with #horrorsholloweegrounds

I guess it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see SF release a Poltergeist CE to go along with the sequels.

I was gonna say I never thought the later sequels were necessarily bad, but I always enjoyed them for what they were: 90s DTV Camp. As others said they had competent actors, producers, and crew, making them a lot better than most of what was on the market at the time. I would actually say that both have certain strengths and unique enough storylines (although there have been a lot of imitators with the "in space" motif).

I wonder if those were similar to the Saved by the Bell set. Owned by CBS or some other TV network that previously licensed to Lionsgate. If so, it's possible Shout might be able to get their hands on them. I'd be down for some SNL classics. I find the new ones to be very mediocre compared to the earlier shows. Early 90s had some decent content then it fizzled out in my opinion.

There's a great interview with Cliff & Jeff over at Shockwaves. I love hearing them talk about their stuff. Usually insightful and informative. Cliff is a little stand offish as he usually is but always offers some great info for the behind the scenes work and Jeff truly loves his job, he's just like us and has been given a chance to work on these things.

Interview starts at 56:30

They already offer free shipping for orders of $50+, but other than that I don’t think they really offer any promos on shipping.

Right, same company. This is more of a Shout Factory question so maybe that's why no one has given you a response? From what I remember back when tvshowsondvd page used to exist, there was no follow up releases do to the high music clearance issues. I just don't see these doing that well making it not worth the hassle and expense of clearing and licensing.

Unfortunately they have repeatedly stated that as of now no chance of a reissue.

Completely agree. I actually really like the second one and find it just as good as the first one. The third is entertaining but an inferior sequel and you could tell the premise was starting to run thin. The fourth one is just terrible and not in a good way.

Well, I went ahead and cancelled all of my Shout! pre-orders on Amazon. This little game they're playing with pre-orders is ridiculous. I feel like it's only going to backfire in the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How was it pathetic? They were made straight to video movies, (even tough they got a theatrical release in Puerto Rico), they pale in comparison to the first two movies. I think I was pretty accurate, but apparently you are sweet on them, I am not judging you, but you cant cover the sun with your hand, part 3 and 4 are crap.
