Meet the new Ariel. It seems Disney is starting an initiative to replace traditional woman's roles with men to give an equality with males roles being replaced with woman. I think everyone will love it.

Wow she does fit the role. Doesn't matter Disney wants to black wash another white red hair character, just like MJ in spidy, now Ariel. Funny its with the same talentless actor zednya. I could only imagine the outrage if a white person were replacing black characters...

It doesn’t matter whether Ariel is black or not. Heck, given the location of the film, it makes sense for her to be a POC. Get over yourself.

It is not even worth the energy anymore. It does not matter what it is, someone will complain. Some people are just miserable 24/7 and they want to infect others.
