Yeah I don't like it either. But *long exhale* the NFL isn't the NFL anymore. Players are more concerned with the largest contract or the latest PC mumbo-jumbo than actually playing the game.

Keep in mind too that some of these defensive guys who play out of their minds now want a piece of that QB market so there's that as well.

Agreed.

There isn't much winning in this situation. Mack holds out, Raiders gain nothing by not having him on the field. Asking price is too high, so again Raiders don't gain anything by dragging their feet. Mack has a year left on the contract that he signed, he's being a selfish jerk and not helping himself or the team. Trading him just plays right into his act.

He’s getting $14m. This isnt Donald playing for peanuts last year.
And i really doubt hes actually on the trading block.

The shelf life of a football player is short, especially for these star cornerbacks. They need to capitalize on media attention as much as possible so as annoying as the trash talk can be, I understand it to an extent.

Trash talk is okay if you're a star player and can back it up. He's still newer to the league and not even the best CB on his team.
