I'm looking to buy my first 4K TV, and currently I'm looking at this model:
https://www.richersounds.com/tv-proj...sk8100pla.html This model has Dolby Vision, but the panel bit depth is 8 bit +FRC to approximate 10 bit (as I understand it)... so my question is, is having a TV with Dolby Vision more important than the lack of a "true" 10 bit panel? Or should I be looking for true 10 bit, but settling for HDR10 where DV may not be present? New to this and trying to catch up, many thanks ![]() |
