Yes, all Corolco titles are part of the Studio Canal library. Moon 44 is not Carolco, but it is with Lionsgate.

Well, between the Universal deal that just got kicked off not too long ago, the Disney deal that keeps bearing fruit and this new StudioCanal deal (on top of all the other existing deals they have in place), Kino's going to be very busy in the coming months/years, much to all our benefit.

Bravo and thank you, Kino. You guys are getting deals where no one else is. I'd love to see you guys get a deal with Warner and/or Sony some time in the future, but you're gonna understandably have your hands full for a while.

I'm happy about this news but I'm afraid it's titles like the ones you list that Kino will go after primarily so movies like Extreme Prejudice Superstition, Vice Squad or The Manitou will fall by the wayside. Hopefully I'm wrong and Kino has bigger plans than just arthouse stuff. Many of these B movies are highly-requested.

KL Insider, can you confirm if any percentage of your acquired titles from StudioCanal have been released on Blu-Ray in region 1?

I'd love to upgrade my Anchor Bay DVDs of Superstition and The Seduction.

Is Alligator a StudioCanal title? Also curious about Watchers, which I thought might be a Universal title but appears to be StudioCanal.

I'll have to check that one out! "Dunkirk" is also underappreciated; it was actually one of my first Region B locked releases I bought. SC did a great transfer and honestly watching it made me want to break out one of the "Medal of Honor" games (which is a good thing). It's also the first film I've seen Bernard Lee outside of a Bond film.

Sounds like Fright is no longer with SC in the US unfortunately. Isn't Xtro a New Line/Warner title?

Dunkirk is one I've really wanted to view. I don't think I've ever seen it aired in the US, unlike all the others which I have seen. Also, director Guy Hamilton was so much more than the James Bond series.

If the assumption that Criterion is one of the two labels with a smaller deal is correct, I think we can move past hoping Kino will release any of the OOP Criterion releases.

Considering how much Criterion has wanted to get those back in print, I'd guess the first things they snapped up were those titles.

Dear Mr. KLI,

I'm not asking you to confirm or deny, but I would be very, very happy if KL released some of the Ealing Studios comedies.

Thanks in advance
