I really hope this turns out to good or even great. When I walked out of The Avengers about 6-years ago I remember thinking to myself "I hope they make movies for Docter Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel next".
Turns out, I had to wait a little longer than I thought for those three to get the big screen treatment, and while I don't consider DS or BP to fantastic films they still turned out good.

I'm personally not very impressed with the trailers so far, though the whole "Hero" thing they're doing is pretty clever.
I will say that Brie Larson at least looks good in the costume, especially when her powers activate.

I was overjoyed to be wrong about Wonder Woman being hot garbage, everything pryer to WW in the DCEU sucked IMO, and I hope the underwhelming trailers for CM do not represent the film's quality.

There is to be no personal attacks on members, actors (sexist posts) and if someone disagrees with you, they are entitled to their opinion and just ignore each other.

Well, speaking for myself, I'm personally looking forward to it.

Outside of Captain America: The First Avenger (a movie which sullied Cap for me - fortunately his other MCU appearances developed and built himself up in my eyes to a great character), The Incredible Hulk, Spider-man Homecoming and the Ant Man films, the MCU has had a good track record for me. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this too. I have faith. The seeming lack of emotion of the character could probably stem from the fact that she's

Looks like this movie will have a connection to Avengers 1 with Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.

I also think that Captain Marvel is being powered by the Quantum Realm.
I also think that the Quantum Realm is going to replace the comics Negative Zone.

CA: First Avenger was great and totally established Cap as he should be. Will never understand the criticisms against this movie. I guess some people just want to ignore WWII, Cap's origin, the progression of the character and what made him the heart of the MCU.

Agreed. TFA is a great movie and one of my favorite origin films.

Eh, Brie Larson is a hot mess and the worst actress put on the planet. Big time suck on this movie with her in it.

In all reality though, this does look interesting. Not amazing or something I'm dying to see, but still interesting nonetheless. Marvel hasn't been too hot in a while. They've only managed to make two excellent films and three pretty good films in the last two years or so. And even the three "pretty good" films are sort of suspect depending on my mood.

TFA is not an origins movie. It's a sequel. I mean, I guess you could call it an origins story what with the introduction of new characters and all. But it all gets shot in the next movie and therefore shouldn't really be a origins movie anyway.

TFA = The First Avenger, which is an origin film for Captain America. Why would you think I am talking about The Force Awakens in a Marvel thread? Especially when I quoted a post about Captain America?

The new Captain Marvel trailer was dope. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her appear in A4.

Now I know the A4 trailer will be good, there is no doubting that. I just hope the FFH trailer will be good too.

I'm really pumped for FFH, but A4 is my most hyped superhero film, along with Glass.
