I don’t have it in me to cry for a movie. I do get the chills though.

E.T. - When the kids are riding their bikes and E.T. makes them fly; combined with John Williams’ soaring/uplifting score in that scene. Major chills.

Rudy - The ending.

The Color Purple - The ending.

I remember being a little "upset" watching Return to Paradise. Near the ending with Vince yelling out.

First movie to ever make me cry was (embarrassingly) "King Kong" (Jessica Lange) at the end when he's dying after falling off the Empire State Building. In my defense, I was like 7 at the time watching it on TV, BUT when I revisited the movie years later damn if the same thing didn't happen again.

"Color Purple" always gets me teary, as does "Eight Below" and the end of "Big Fish".

But the movie that makes me bawl like 6-year-old girl without fail is "Hachi: A Dog's Tale."

Toy Story 3, Warrior and... err... I'm forgetting the third. But I'll do an update when I remember.

Not sure if I ever posted this one on here but the scene in Forrest Gump when Gump is talking to Jenny's grave. That one gets me every time. Very powerful moment and Hanks' performance is brilliant. That mixed with Alan Silvestri's phenomenal end credits score is potent stuff.

My wife and I saw that opening day (Christmas, I believe). Not a dry eye in the house. We went out to eat afterwards, but all I wanted to do was go home and hug my dog.

All Dogs Go To Heaven but not because of the film itself, but the real life tragedy behind it and the inspired song.

What real life tragedy behind it? I Googled and couldn't find anything on it.
