He wasn't doing a very good job to begin with. The Canes took a big step backward this season.

Coach Richt definitely moved the program forward in his time here. He also came to the realization that he took it as far as he could, and it was time to step aside. A true man of character. Nothing but thankfulness and respect to Coach Richt.

Sucks for Temple to have to hire a coach less than 3 weeks after hiring Diaz, but they'll get a nice $4 million buyout from Diaz/Miami so that helps soften the blow.

Yeah, for sure. You can tell Coach Diaz feels bad about putting Temple in this position, but this is a job he couldn’t turn down.

Oh well, fun while it lasted. It took UCF's star QB being out with injury to (barely) lose a game. They kept it tight even with a freshman QB being thrown into the mix the last few games of the season.

I guess that's one way to look at it.

Outgained 2.5:1, Time of Possession 3:1.

I still have no idea how LSU didn't have a 5 TD lead in the 4th Quarter.

Sheer domination and still LSU nearly finds a way to blow it just like Miss St did (as usual) and Kentucky tried to (and surprisingly didn't). LSU has always been one of the most undisciplined teams I've ever watched and proved it again today. They have to lead the world in Personal Fouls and Unsportsmanlike calls for taunting and targeting every year
