I've bought all the region B Arrow releases of Corman's Poe films. I agree they're the best transfers, razor sharp, accurately and beautifully graded, expertly mastered in high bit rates and attractively packaged. The steelbooks of The Fall of the House of Usher and The Pit and the Pendulum are to be cherished. Quote:
I have a collection of record albums from the 1950s and 1960s of Poe readings. My favorites are the four LP's Basil Rathbone did. I first heard them in the public library when I was a kid. Many actors did them. spoken world recordings. I thought about including a post on Poe in other media, but I don't know if it would be appropriate on blu-ray.com.
