Yeah, most are $30, but there seems to be a few lesser priced Arrow releases. I wish FYE's website had their sh!t together, but you can't have it all..

Is there a magic trick that others have figured out to make FYE worth checking ?

The magic trick is to use their sister website (Second Spin) and order through there. Much better site - you can search via UPC on SS, but not FYE. Most of the times Second Spin runs better sales, too. Also, the stock is the same as they both draw from the same inventory.

With FYE, there is no way to know (seriously). You can search their sister site (Second Spin) via UPC and see if would match up with FYE (i.e., stock, price, etc.) since they draw from the exact same inventory. But it is still a roll of the dice with FYE as to what version of any movie that you may get.

Under "Product Details" it has Arrow for the studio so I'd expect you would receive the Arrow release. But I have run into several other releases like this where it is ambiguous what you may actually receive.

I did get Plague Dogs for 17.99 so I am pretty happy about that! I wasn't able to get that in the Target sale since it sold out.

Yeah, it has both pictures, but in that product details area it says Arrow. The problem is it also has the Severin release date in 2011...

But for the release date, it gives the 11/29/11 date of the Severin version. There seems to be no trusting their weirdo trash site.

Same situation with their "Used" listing for Audition https://www.fye.com/audition-amg_video.v181774.html#0 (select blu-ray disc, then used). It's obviously evidently for the Shout release, lists that one's release date, but it says Arrow Video for the studio.

Was a nightmare waiting for and then exchanging a POS Hellraiser release when the far superior Arrow steelbook was pictured on the search page, listing page and invoice page. I wouldn't bother chasing bargains on FYE's site unless you're absolutely sure of what you're getting.
