XBOX Live Gamer selling Gamertag on eBay
UPDATE: eBay closed the auction.
Never thought I'd see this one coming, but at the same time I'm hardly surprised. CNET reports that early XBOX-Live adopter Chris Braziano is selling his "wildly popular" xbox live gamertag, "HITMAN" on eBay. He was one of the first people to sign up for Live during its beta testing in 2002, and now decided to see how much he could profit off selling his name. Before the auction was closed the final bid was at $365  . Graziano states "Don't bid on this item if you don't want to be the center of attention of every game lobby you're in. You'll regularly hear comments of 'You're the original Hitman?' and 'Wow, how did you get that gamertag?!'"Hey, in our current economy, if the man is able to get a few bucks (or much more) by selling his gamertag, who am I to bash him?
