The 4K, 3D, 120 sites for Billy Lynn all required custom equipment and to get screens/projectors ready it cost around a million dollars a piece. That’s why there were just 2 domestic locations for it and it wasn’t much more widely available overseas. And while costs can only go down on those types of things, I doubt there will be a huge expansion for Gemini Man.

However, while making Billy Lynn it was mentioned that 2K 3D 60 and 2K 2D 120 are things which can be done at lots of theaters, so I imagine those will be part of the general DCP.

No, the problem with Billy Lynn's was NOT the full fat 3D 4K120 version because that's nowhere near DCI spec, it was a bespoke system and was always going to be a very limited engagement for whichever theatres had the badass Christie double-stack projector needed to make it work. Same will apply to Gemini Man.

What happened before is that a 3D 2K60 test DCP was sent out to theaters and so many of them choked on it (not displaying the HFR correctly, not displaying the colour space correctly) that the HFR rollout was abandoned shortly thereafter. Whatever was said at the time about 60 and 120 being "done at lots of theaters" didn't prove to be the case. Penton remarked that some of it wasn't down to the actual projectors but more the servers that feed them, they just weren't up to shifting that much data...hence a test DCP being freshly sent out for Gemini Man to see what the state of play is.

I have a soft spot for ‘Holiday’, not only Grant & Hepburn, but also the supporting characters who excel at whit and charm in this movie. Got to give it to Cukor for making the entire endeavor look good.

Of course it would be wonderful to get this released on a 4K disc, but afaik there isn’t even a bd. I have the DVD as part of a 4 or 5 film Grant set.

Just a reminder that while Marvel movies are stuck at 2k, Lucasfilm continues to do everything in 4k. The Rise of Skywalker trailer attached to Endgame is 4k.

Those are the only ones. In fact, Stranger Things is the only show Netflix has ever released on any physical media.

They license some shows from 3rd parties who have, in the past, released blu-rays of those shows from time to time but even that is becoming increasingly rare.
