According to Discotek, their release of the anime movie The Venus Wars is now OOP.

I decided to pass on it for now. I was able to watch a friends copy a couple years back. Plus I think they are just needing a repress is all.

It's still readily available direct from Amazon, so if this is true and you want it, now's the time to get it.

Assuming all the Lakeshore titles, if they're not OOP already, will eventually be from Arrow.

Now is probably the time to snag those in print if you want them.

Vinegar Syndrome i think may also have Lakeshore titles upcoming.

I believe Paramount Pictures may have lost rights to many if not all of the Lakeshore library. Correct me if i am wrong

I'm not sure if the UK release is going OOP as well, but it can be had for 7.50 pounds (roughly $9.75) from Arrow's site on sale right now. You must be logged in to see the correct price. It's listed as A compatible on the site here. Shipping for up to two films is very cheap (2.25 pounds / $2.92).

I wouldn't read too much into it. A lot of Mill Creek titles have gone out of print.
