It's nice that they're moving closer to the original theatrical poster, but that design is way too gimmicky.

My ideal packaging would be the theatrical poster in a yellow slipbox that is as sturdy as the slipbox for 2001. The same with Clockwork orange, in a white slipbox.

Just got an email from Warner Brothers 5 minutes ago confirming the 10/1 date. It has the standard cover, however I'm at work and can't post it. It's interesting to say the least...

Oh, I'm guessing it's the one pictured HERE.

I kinda like it. H8ers gun h8. I just wish there was some consistency with the Kubrick UHD titles. I wonder what the art for Clockwork will look like...

Neither covers bother me very much tbh. At least the steelbook has the same color scheme and font as the original theatrical poster.

I'm also kinda sick of seeing Jack Nicholson's "Here's Johnny!" face on the cover of every edition of The Shining so for me these covers are a welcome change. They've used the exact same cover photo since the VHS days so I'm liking these.

Just got the Warner email and was pretty excited when I saw all the info and cover.

Not entirely sold on the cover as it makes it look like a Friday the 13th-ish style cover, but I dunno still like it.

The yellow one is better by virtue of using aesthetics derived from the original poster. It doesn't beat said original poster by a long shot though.

I don’t like it but it could have been worse. They could have made it a Miami Vice theme with pastel colours like Batman.
