Yeah, the in-store only point redemption was the worst part of that program. I could never find what I wanted in store when I had one of those $5 rewards burning a hole in my wallet.

Americans had a better program in place with their game zone dealio, gave them discounts etc. for being a member. Thats gone now too from what I can recall.

I guess at the end of it all, I like collecting loyalty points at places I shop often. Just gives me incentive to shop with that store. I guess cash back rewards and ebates are technically worth more, but still...

Well.... as expected, Best Buy's E3 30% off promo is a bust... already sold out of a bunch of titles by 7am. Hoping they re-stock before it's over, but I'm thinking maybe they only allocated a certain amount for the discount, so they can at least say they had a deal on?

Captain Marvel SB arrived today from BC. No spine slashes. One copy has slightly off spine text. The red Marvel textbox is lower and CM text is almost on the edge. Will be returning that one to store as my extra one.

BB US still has their rewards program and I use it from time to time.

It's too bad BB Canada hasn't renewed their points program, but I do collect points from Amazon.ca and ebay.

Received my copy of Captain Marvel 4K SB today and was surprised to receive (2) copies in separate boxes and diff PO # on each box. Only 1 box PO# matches my single order on my profile on there website. Did I get a second copy for free by accident? Can’t find it anywhere in my order history, Guess return it ASAP and get money back and basically get a copy for free. Has this happened to others? Thnx

Very strange

Never happened with Best Buy, but it did happen with Amazon and Wal-Mart.
Both times I did my research on maybe I had ordered something unconsciously or simply forgot, both times I contacted customer service and they simply told me to keep the item and thanked me being honest.

They have been having a lot of weird technical issues. My Best Buy order for Final Fantasy 7 Remake was cancelled without any reason. They sent me a code to use online to reorder it at the same price.

They sent me a $5 code but it's sold out so I can't re-order it.

I'd say pretty likely, since that artwork doesn't look like a j-card or anything that you can remove. Unless it's a sticker, I'd say it's definitely on the Steelbook. Wouldn't be the first time either.

So ugly

The 4k/3D standard edition is just as bad. Why they had to put the name ALITA on the front twice is beyond me, probably one of the worst bilingual covers ever

BEAUTIFUL steelbook ruined by that double title. I'm ordering the JB Hifi one for a bit cheaper.

(Hoping it has French audio for my kids.)
