Tangerine Dream's score for Legend (1985) is more appropriate than Jerry Goldsmith's score. Goldsmith is my favorite film composer, but his Legend score is too bold, too heroic, and far too serious.

This! I also much prefer the US theatrical cut.

I can't see what those others see in it either... literally - I'm usually sleeping like baby before the ape man sequence is over. I've only twice made it passed the that part but only because I skipped it, however I'm out like a light not long after.

The book does the same to me.

I do want to see it though and I don't think it is a bad or even boring movie - it just has the affect of putting me to sleep regardless of whether I'm tired or not.

If you got rid of the Transformers sequels, the only real stinker in Michael Bay's filmography is Pearl Harbor.

None of the other films are masterpieces, but they are good at being big, loud, dumb ways to sell popcorn.

You are a lucky man that your wife stays with you since you don't care for 2001 A Space Odyssey. I could never be with anyone who didn't like it.

I don't hate it, but there are far better movies than 2001. Here's a list of movies better than 2001 that will break the internet:
  • Speed 2: Cruise Control
  • Sweet Home Alabama
  • My Best Friend's Wedding
  • Hulk
  • The X-Files: Fight The Future
  • Steel Magnolias
  • Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

That's not an unpopular opinion, that's just pure bullshit.

Anger Management was one of Adam Sandler's better movies. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I thought Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler made a good team in that movie.

thank you for setting an example of a troll post---

I'm equally offended by STEEL MAGNOLIAS being thrown in with this sorry list as it's a fine film!

John Lafia should be credited as the co-creator of Chucky.

I either read this in an article or watched a video talking about it. Not sure if true, but very interesting. The original ending to Salvation had Connor's skin on Marcus, and the Terminator basically kills everyone. If true, that would have been one of the greatest endings in film history. Imagine the outcry that would have created.

other than Hulk, I enjoy those listed above (steel magnolias is exceptional).... but that is just insanity.

The best film on the list is The X - Files : Fight the Future. I was never a fan of 2001 but I do like the sequel 2010 a lot.

Hulk is the only film on that list I really like, much better and certainly more interesting than most of the official MCU films! I recognise Steel Magnolia's quality but I found it hard to get through.
