No point troubling yourself over those now since we most likely won't find out about them for another five months.

The only thing that's been confirmed is that they'll be including both cuts of the film, "they know what the fans want" according to the Shock Waves podcast, and that it'll be released in February in time for Valentine's Day.

Undersellers:

Vice Squad

The Green Inferno
I do hope sales for Vice Squad pick up, if only because I enjoy the hell out of that movie. The pre-order went up when I was on a flight, and I ended up placing my order right when I got off the plane.

I wasn't interested in The Green Inferno (the only Eli Roth project I've seen that I liked was the Thanksgiving trailer in Grindhouse), but I do hope that its sales don't turn them off from including soundtracks in their releases. That's always something that I've liked seeing get included in releases...

If I was to rank them, I would go:

Night of the Demons/ From Beyond
Night of the Comet
Pumkinhead
Gingersnaps

The movies have been mostly covered above, but I would say that these all have very good lead actors/actresses that make each one more enjoyable.

I was looking at some of the other titles in the current Best Buy sales, specifically the Scanners double feature, The Manster, and Angry Red Planet. Checking BN and amazon, it looks like the MSRP may have been reduced on those titles at least. I haven’t looked into it any more than that, but if that is the case, they should be even cheaper than the current prices during the next BN 40% off sale.

Do we have any idea how many titles Shout! was able to get in the Fox deal? There didn't seem to be that many titles announced at Comic Con.

No idea. Like with the Fox deals in the past I would expect that this was a very small deal for only a handful of titles.

I'm not expecting many more from Fox for the simple reason that I'm not sure how many more unreleased films have HD masters. I have this list, but which ones have HD masters? It's surely accurate to surmise that the bottom 5 on this list have HD masters, but the rest?

Dr Renault's Secret
The Unknown Terror
Back from the Dead
Hand of Death
Witchcraft
(HD master available, but can they resolve the issues which nixed the Kino release?)
Devils of Darkness
The Nanny
(this probably has a HD master)
The Anniversary
Hex
(if it's still with Fox)
When Michael Calls (TV)
The Norliss Tapes (TV)
The House on Skull Mountain
Spectre
(TV)
Vampire (1979) (TV)
The Vindicator
Frankenstein Unbound
The Haunted
(TV)
Ghost in the Machine (HD master available)
Strange Days (HD master available)
Quicksilver Highway

Club Dread
Incident at Loch Ness
Turistas
Joshua
Death Sentence

There's also more double-dips, but not much is really jumping out here:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)
The X-Files: Fight the Future
From Hell
Joy Ride
28 Days Later
Wrong Turn
(I think just the first would interest them)
The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
28 Weeks Later
The X-Files: I Want to Believe

One other possibility - and it's a long one, I'll grant you - is another box-set of a major Fox franchise: Planet of the Apes. This seems quite improbable since Fox had future spin-off projects in development before the takeover and Disney haven't taken them off the table. But would Fox have been willing to let Shout put out the first 5 films in the series? I believe all 5 have had 4K restorations which they don't seem to have any interest in putting out themselves (they've missed the boat a couple of times now, and I think the 4K restoration of the first Apes at least is already several years old). And you never know, given that this was done just before the takeover Fox might have just thought 'f**k it, we might as well licence them out now' (I can't imagine they were always open to licencing The Omen and The Fly films).

Unfortunately I think that will be true of most of their TV movies (I really want The Norliss Tapes and Vampire), but then Omen IV had one, so who knows?

True. I would also like to see them release the Tripper, but I'm not sure if that's with Fox, but they did release it on DVD.

I'm still pretty surprised Death Sentence hasn't happened yet.

In terms of non horror films, Fox is still a goldmine. I would like to see a lot of films come to their Shout Select line.

Thinking of grabbing these titles off hamiltonbook....any thoughts on them?

-The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake
-The Vampire
-Return of the Vampire

Note:

Sad to hear The Manitou is an underseller. Entertaining as hell 70's flick IMO.

3. Pumpkinhead: Perhaps a bit typical, yet overall pretty well-made creature movie with some folk horror touches. The titular creature looks awesome. Of course, it's highly recommended for Halloween.

4. Night of the Comet: I really wanted to love this one because of its delightful premises, but ultimately left a bit dissatisfied. Perhaps I wanted the girls more autonomous in their own apocalyptic world, rather than just shoplifting a mall, captured by boys, saved by military/scientists and finding their secrets and so on. (But my recollection might be a bit unfair. It's been years since I saw it.)

Night of the Demons I haven't seen.
Night of the Comet plays on 80s mall culture and the Valley Girl stereotype that was popular when the movie was made. The girls do get an assist from Hector in the third act, but otherwise they are badasses. There's a line about how their military father taught them to use weapons.

Night of the Demons is a great Halloween flick.

I can see you've got some Universal monsters in your collection - definitely pull the trigger on "Return of the Vampire" - and excellent film that plays like it fits into the Universal monsterverse somewhere (which was Columbia's intention, getting that audience).

Not sure what you mean by "The Vampire..."

I'm a little late to the game here, but Ginger Snaps is one of my favorite Shout releases yet, and also one of my favorite werewolf movies in general. Thought it was solid as a werewolf movie but also had a great underlying theme/story as well.

From Beyond I got as a blind buy not knowing what to expect. I ended up liking it far more than I thought I would. Probably not the best comparison, but I'd say if you've seen stuff like Re-animator and like that, give this one a try.

Pumpkinhead is just an all around solid monster movie. Good pace and overall enjoyable. I always like when there's an interesting backstory to these types of movies and this had that.

Night of the Demons I haven't seen in a very long time, but don't remember enjoying it. Night of the Comet I've been meaning to see for a long time but my understanding is it's not really a "horror" how I would classify a horror.
