I just got in the mail to day my new ps3. It is the 160gig and I am planning on moving my motorstorm 80gig to the bedroom. I have heard that you can't transfer files through a wireless network. So since the new ones only have usb I guess I will have to go that route. So for games like call of duty 4 is my online profile on the ps3 or is on the psn? Is my best bet to copy on a usb and transfer over evertyhing in the saved game folder and the game data utiltity (might not be correct name) folder over to the new ps3.
I am planning on swithcing them out as my 80gig is a yr old and will get used less in the bedroom. Plus the new one is so much quieter and runs cooler. I have only used media card slot at the most 2 times in the yr I have had it, and have never used more then 2 usb ports at a time. So I guess what is the most painless way to transfer everything and what files are a must. Thanks |
